Jessica Piland - Instructor

Miss Jessica has always had a passion for dance and began training at the age of 6. She has had training in ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, tap, baton, and African. At 11 years old, she began assisting in classes, and she began teaching classes in 2015. She is a product of our Studio Elite teacher training program, and continues to assist and work with our directors. When she was 13, she had the opportunity to perform as a Snow Maiden in the Moscow Ballet's production of The Great Russian Nutcracker. She was able to take master classes from principal ballet dancer Ekaterina Uksusnikova of the Moscow Ballet. In 2015, she performed at Disney through the Disney Performing Arts Program. She has attended workshops, such as Dance Revolution, Ballet Magnificat, and Radix. At Radix, she took classes from Janelle Ginestra, Billy Bell, Jason Janas, NappyTabs, Tina Caspary, and Talia Favia. At 14, she started dancing competitively. Her biggest accomplishment was scoring a 1st overall in the advanced senior tap solo division at a dance competition in Orlando in 2016. She strives to give her students the best training possible and instill the same passion she has into them. She not only wants to create a dancer with perfect technique, but one with extraordinary artistry.
